India’s GST collections touched ₹1.89 lakh crore in September 2025, marking a 9% year-on-year growth. The surge coincides with the rollout of GST 2.0, introducing simplified tax slabs aimed at boosting consumption and compliance.

  • CGST: ₹33,645 crore (↑ 7.1%)
  • SGST: ₹41,836 crore (↑ 6.5%)
  • IGST: ₹1,01,883 crore (↑ 12.5%)
  • CESS: ₹11,652 crore (↓ 2.4%)

  • Domestic GST Revenue: ₹1,36,525 crore (↑ 6.8%)
  • Import GST Revenue: ₹52,492 crore (↑ 15.6%)

  • Domestic Refunds: ₹16,251 crore (↑ 52.2%)
  • Import Refunds (ICEGATE): ₹12,406 crore (↑ 26.9%)
  • Total Refunds: ₹28,657 crore (↑ 40.1%)
